How to
Register Extreme Camp: Are you ready for Extreme Camp? This camp is the most adventurous that Cedarkirk offers. Including overnight campouts, kayaking through Fort DeSoto’s lush mangroves, and hiking through Florida’s tropical beauty, this camp has it all. While at Cedarkirk, campers (grades 8th-12th completed) will stay in the rustic cabins or platform tents and experience all the fun, classic activities Cedarkirk has to offer. Come join us for what is sure to be a phenomenal experience!
Senior High Conference: Individuals who sign up for this camp will experience camp in a different way. This small group camp provides for great late night discussions and the opportunity to learn more about yourself, those around you, and God. Whether you are new to Cedarkirk or have been coming here for years, this is your chance to relax, have fun, and make some of the best friends of your life. We’ll do some favorite camp activities and add some new ones too: get ready for worships filled with the music you love, volleyball on the sand court, and a luau at the pool. Senior High Conference campers will stay in air-conditioned facilities.
Mid-High and Senior High Music, Arts, and Drama Camp: Music, Arts, and Drama campers will have the chance to explore their creative side at camp, taking time each day to discover different aspects of the creative arts. Drum language, clay molding, voice technique, drama improvisation, and praise and worship are only a few of the exciting possibilities this summer. Plus, you will still have a chance to experience some of your favorite Cedarkirk activities: canoeing, zip lining, kayaking, and swimming. These campers will enjoy living in the air-conditioned facilities while at Cedarkirk.
Gathered at the Well: New for 2008! Come join us for an in-depth exploration into God’s gift of water. These campers will enjoy staying in air-conditioned lodging and participate in traditional camp activities each day. In addition, part of each day will be spent exploring where our water comes from, how our actions can affect our water supply, and where our water goes. We will play and learn about the waters that fill the Alafia River and ultimately end up in Tampa Bay. Our week will culminate with a behind-the-scenes tour and overnight experience at the Florida Aquarium!
Senior High Hearts and Hands Service Camp:
New for 2008! Are you looking to really make a difference in
people’s lives and learn more about God’s call to mission? This camp invites
Mid-High and Senior High campers to explore the little and big ways in which
we can serve God in the world
Magical Mystery Tour: New for 2008! Do you like surprises? This new and exciting camp offers our oldest campers the chance to be surprised every day. Here are some clues. The activities might be at camp or off-site. They might be indoor or they might be outdoor. Too vague? That’s the magic of the tour. The mystery of the unknown allows you to bond with friends as you stay in the moment and let tomorrow bring what tomorrow brings. When necessary, we will let you know what type of clothes to wear and when to get up for the day. Other than that there are no clues. The bus for this tour may fill up fast so sign up early for a phenomenal experience!!
