Senior High Leadership (Grades 9-12 Completed)

Senior High Leadership: New and Improved!  This program is about service to others, obtaining leadership skills and having fun in the process.  The Senior High Leadership program offers older campers an understanding of what it means to serve God and one another in a Christian community.  In this special program, small groups will help lead recreation for younger campers, wash dishes in the kitchen, and spend time in Bible study and faith discussions.  SHL campers will stay in the rustic cabins and also enjoy all that Cedarkirk has to offer: swimming, floating down the river in tubes, playing on the high ropes course and more!  This year, there are a variety of different SHL sessions to fit into your summer schedule. Camps include a one-week session, two-week sessions with a weekend, and seven-day and eight-day sessions. Please note the varying prices for each camp. Service hours are available for SHL campers and more information is on our website.

Campers who would like to sign up for more than one session of SHL, will be placed in their first choice and then on the waiting list of their additional camp selections. These wait lists will be opened on May 1st.

All SHL applicants must complete an additional application. You can find this here or we will send it to you when we receive your registration and deposit.

Counselor-In-Training (CIT):  As a Counselor-in-Training you will live and work as an assistant counselor in the Junior camps. You will learn from experienced counselors (and you’ll probably learn a lot from the kids, too). This is a great way to impact a group of children in ways that can last a lifetime. CIT camps are one-week sessions instead of two; however, you are encouraged to apply for more than one session. Two years of SHL are required for participation.

All SHL applicants must complete an additional application. You can find this here or we will send it to you when we receive your registration and deposit.
