This small-group focused camp includes all the great activities campers love: arts and crafts, Bible study, swimming, archery, canoeing, zip lining, games, cookouts, and more! Each activity is not only fun, but also provides for making new friends, developing confidence, and feeling a sense of accomplishment. Junior Campers have completed 3rd-6th grade and spend their week in the rustic cabins or platform tents with nearby bathrooms. Come join the fun and leave with new friends and amazing stories to tell!
Junior Music, Arts, and Drama (Camp #203): A New Favorite! Junior Music, Art and Drama Camp offers an exciting week to explore and express your musical, artistic and dramatic talents. These campers will enjoy living in air-conditioned facilities and exciting possibilities such as drum language, clay molding, voice technique, drama improvisation, and praise and worship. Campers laugh and learn all week while singing new music as well as some camp classics.
Junior Creative Camp: Back by Popular Demand! Are you interested in the fun of Junior Camp and have a creative mind? While staying in air-conditioned facilities, campers participate in classic Cedarkirk activities such as canoeing, swimming, Bible study, archery, and games. Creative Campers will also enjoy group puzzles, our low ropes course, artistic opportunities to express their creative side, and a trip to Great Explorations in St. Petersburg, a hands on museum. Come join us for lots of fun and a chance to test your wits and mental muscles.
Junior Woodwise Camp: Discover nature and the Bible like never before! Woodwise is designed for campers who are intrigued by the natural world and enjoy spending time outdoors. This camp features unique and creative activities that enable campers to learn more about outdoor living skills, care of creation, and natural stewardship. While staying in the cabins and platform tents, your experience will include favorites like canoeing, swimming in the pool, cookouts, arts and crafts, archery, and Bible study. In addition to exploring some of the science of the natural world, we will also take time to simply enjoy the beauty of God's creation that surrounds us.
Water Wonder Adventure Camp: New for 2008! Come join us for an in-depth exploration into God’s gift of water. These campers will enjoy staying in the rustic cabins and participate in traditional camp activities each day. In addition, part of each day will be spent exploring where our water comes from, how our actions can affect our water supply, and where our water goes. We will play and learn about the waters that fill the Alafia River and ultimately end up in Tampa Bay. Our week will culminate with a behind-the-scenes tour and overnight experience at the Florida Aquarium!
